Epicalypse San Diego

The wedding “off-season” is a bit of a mixed bag for us. It means weekends at home curled up on the couch with a blanket and the space heater (and frequently the big hairy dog) instead of sore ..everything.. after going crazy with our wedding couples on the dancefloor. It also means severe wedding withdrawal – we start listening to wedding reception music in the car just to get our fix. Perhaps most importantly, it means regrouping. New England winters can be intense, and with weeks in between the odd shoots here and there, we start to get antsy. When Sam Hurd and Jeff Newsom announced their first joint Epicalypse workshop, it was pretty much a no-brainer. 12 solid hours of Sam and Jeff spilling their secrets with complete honesty in a San Diego wedding photographer workshop – it was the best possible way to dodge a few days of the northeast cold and get inspired for 2017. It even rained a little to give us some uncharacteristic weather for SD, but it certainly made the shoots more applicable to Boston! This year is going to be nuts, and we can’t wait!
