Eri + Victor / Nantucket Engagement Session

So many sessions to share, so little time! Christmas is coming up, followed by the new year, but we’ve still got so many 2016 posts! Today we’re sharing this way overdue trip out to Nantucket Island with our good buddy Cal getting creative on the beach. Fun fact, he got his camera completely soaked by a big wave of ocean water on the beach about 10 minutes into the session, and still got the shot (the camera’s still working great a couple months later). Back to the session itself, Eri and Victor were kind enough to bring us down to Nantucket for an amazing trip. It was a little overcast and windy, but the clouds were full of that texture, so we got not only the soft cloudy light, but we also had tons of drama in the skies. Nantucket’s their favorite place ever, and we were so excited to photograph them in their element. We visited their favorite beach right around sunset, and despite some insane winds, we even nabbed a few moonlit shots of them on the ferry back to the mainland.
