We’re coming up toward the very end of 2016 with one more wedding to go, and we’re still getting caught up on all the amazing weddings we’ve been a part of this year. Jeanie and Hoa got married this past Spring with, given the number of people family and friends present, a rather intimate home Chinese wedding complete with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. It was amazing for us to find ourselves amongst such a closely-knit group of people to celebrate Jeanie and Hoa’s big day. After an exciting morning of getting ready with each of them at their respective locations, they were finally able to see each other after some hilarious door games, one of which involved groomsmen passing a piece of dried seaweed between one another using only their mouths. The tea ceremony itself was beautiful, especially with so many close family members to present their blessings, and we followed soon after with the portrait session at the Arnold Arboretum with gorgeous weather, and plenty of cherry blossoms still blooming. The wedding wrapped up with an epic reception at Hei La Moon in Boston’s Chinatown, complete with all the crazy dancefloor action. A special shoutout to Andy for being one of the most talented and easygoing videographers around!
