Christine & Justin / Beacon Hill Engagement Photos

Boston Engagement Photos at Sunset (20)

Wedding season is upon us!! If we’re not shooting a wedding on a weekend day, we’re probably photographing an engagement or meeting with our awesome clients for coffee. We’re drinking lots of coffee this time of year!

Christine and Justin wanted to do their engagement session near their home, so we started off the beautiful afternoon at the Boston Public Garden. When the weather is nice, part of the skill is just finding spots that aren’t completely packed with families, cyclists, runners, or even just other photographers with their clients. It’s crowded, but the light is so gorgeous, making every maneuver well worth it. The colors this time of year are gorgeous, and despite the allergies wiping everyone out, the flowers do look incredible. In Beacon Hill, we “negotiated” some space in Acorn Street, where not one, but two other photographers were taking photos, and Secretary Kerry must have been home because Louisburg Square was full of secret service cars. We made it to the Charles River Esplanade right as the sun was setting, as people lined up along the water to watch the sun go down beyond the Cambridge skyline.

We loved photographing this Boston engagement session in the heart of the city, and while their wedding is still a little ways out, we’re so so so excited to have gotten to know Christine and Justin in front of our cameras just a little bit earlier.
