When you look at a timeline and see that there are about 4 hours scheduled just for dancing, you get a feeling about the type of wedding you’re walking into. Between the beautiful details and the intensely loving family, this wedding was absolutely amazing. We always do our best work when our couples are comfortable with us being around, and Suzanne and John (and everyone else) were fantastic about welcoming us and treating us just like family.
John is a bit of a dance enthusiast, and while Suzanne and John gave us plenty of notice that they had been working on something special for their first dance, we weren’t quite prepared for what ended up being an epic dance-off that had the entire crowd cheering. The reception was one of the craziest we’ve photographed, and we’ve never seen a full dancefloor maintain the energy and excitement quite like this group of kickass people did. And while we were completely wiped out by the end of the night, we enjoyed every second of weaving in and out of the crowd. Take note – this is how you do a dance party.
