Marion & Tony / Boston Engagement Session

Sunrise Engagement Session in Boston Public Garden (7)

There’s an incredible sense of calm walking down the streets of Boston before the sun is even up. At the intersections that are usually completely packed during the daytime with honking cars and people trying to jaywalk, things are just so quiet.

In case you were wondering, this is why we love sunrise photo sessions so so much. For us, it doesn’t really matter that it’s 5:30 AM in the morning after coming home from a late wedding the night before and our bodies are still aching. The beautiful skies with the gorgeous golden light make everything all worth it. Not having to fight the crowds just to take a photo in the Boston Public Garden is also certainly a plus. Being wedding photographers, we can’t always control the time of day we do our photos, but on days like this when we can, it’s like freakin’ magic.

That turned into a bit of a ramble about why we love sunrise portraits. With people being so busy, we’re always super grateful when a couple is willing to cut short the incredibly precious sleep just to hang out for a couple hours. Marion and Tony were nothing short of awesome. And honestly, if an engagement session involving a Frisbee and multiple attempts for a freeze frame high five isn’t completely kickass, you’re doing something wrong.
