David and David are awesome. That’s really all there is to it. From our initial daylight savings meeting snafu to the various casual meet-ups we had to talk about wedding details.. at the dog park, there wasn’t a single step along the process with these two that wasn’t a great time. Because they’re awesome.
Our favorite thing about photographing weddings – the reason we do this – is that we love being a part of such important and emotionally moving moments in people’s lives. From the second we arrived at these guys’ rehearsal dinner, we just felt so welcomed and included. We quickly got to know the amazing group of people that surround the two Davids. The wedding day was nothing short of kickass, of course. We did oh-so-many ridiculous…ly awesome jumping photos, and how many weddings can you honestly say included a moment in which a guy in a golf cart comes to tell us to quiet down because half the wedding party did a little bit of cheering? That’s the kind of enthusiasm we were working with, and it really showed. The wedding party literally built the platform for David and David’s wedding ceremony, and of course the ring-bearer Solomon was a buddy of our dog’s.
Big thanks to Ken from BG Events & Catering, and everybody at the MIT Endicott House and the MIT Sailing Pavilion for making the day such an amazing success.
