It feels like just yesterday that we first met Stephanie and Elijah at Creve Coeur Lake for their engagement shoot. Post storm, the sky was gray, and everything was flooded. The night before their wedding, forecasts once again warned of impending thunderclouds, and we planned for the worst. Nope. The day was as bright and beautiful as you could possibly hope for an outdoor ceremony.
The absolute best thing about weddings are the people. Everybody comes together to celebrate the love of an extraordinary couple, and Stephanie’s and Elijah’s wedding was definitely not lacking in amazing people. On Stephanie’s side, her mother and brother shuttled cupcakes and flowers across the river. Elijah’s large Kenyan family brought to the table some of the most incredible wedding traditions we’ve ever seen. We enjoyed every moment of the day.
