Briiana and Tim are very special to us. They were one of our first clients with their engagement shoot, and we photographed Briiana’s family for our very first family portrait session. When Briiana and Tim told us they had locked down the date for their big day, we couldn’t be more honored to be there.
Briiana and Tim decided they wanted a Paris wedding, but unfortunately, French law requires one of them to have lived in the country for at least 40 days beforehand. Instead, Briiana and Tim came up with the idea to have a marriage license signing-ceremony at home with their friends and family, and hold a private wedding in Paris immediately after. Bad weather rained down on the original plans for a picnic-style party, but nothing could quash their dedication to each other. The ceremony, held at the First Baptist Church of Ferguson, was still gorgeous. There were Briiana’s and Tim’s favorite sweets everywhere, from Fritz’s Frozen Custard (with the absolutely necessary caramel sauce, straight from the source), to strawberries stuffed with cheesecake (yep). Briiana even made incredible pink-champagne cupcakes herself! After Briiana and Tim finally signed the papers and tied the knot, they rushed to the airport, and were off to the City of Light. Congratulations Tim & Briiana Hancock!
