After a long day downtown in Soulard covering the Tap ‘N’ Run 4K, we were fairly tired already. Still, with the 5th annual Show Me Stylez happening at the Gargoyle at WashU, we had to at least stop by – we were not disappointed. Bboy culture is very showy and expressive. The (mostly) 3-member teams faced off in a tournament-style competition throwing out incredible gravity-defying maneuvers with amazing flexibility. Ultimately, the duo Sa-Ewl and Gravity took home the well-deserved $1200 grand prize after an insane 6th-round tiebreaker.
