Saint Louis weather is famous for its unpredictability. Last year on this same date, the weather was sunny and a balmy 70. On this day, Saint Louis decided to throw us a curveball and shower us with rain and chilly winds. Ironically, while Jenn and Josh were getting ready, it was nice outside. The minute Jenn and Josh left Chase Park Plaza and headed to Washington University to take some photos, rain started coming down. With only two umbrellas for the entire bridal party, you’d expect gloom and frustration. But, as you can see below, we had a blast. From Mortal Combat poses to sassy smiles from the bridesmaids, Jenn and Josh’s optimism and love stood out and beat the weather back. By the time we reached the church, the rain had slowed to a nice drizzle.
The reception at Sqwires was filled with fun Saint Louis flavor. From Billy Goat to pretzels to cupcakes from the Cup, we were delighted to be able to sample some of Saint Louis’s native treats. The decor, food, and music were phenomenal. Congratulations, Jenn and Josh!
