We were first introduced to China Care when photographing the LNYF event. Besides raising money for orphans in need of surgery in China, China Care works to bring Chinese culture and heritage to the adopted Chinese children in the Saint Louis area. We volunteered at one of these sessions and were able to have fun with these children. They learned to sing Chinese songs and identify the major cities in China. Oddly, this brought back memories of attending Chinese school as a kid. We had a lot of fun and are definitely planning on returning to volunteer, if only for the delicious pork buns.
